Wilfred Aguila, MD, FACS.

Wilfred Aguila, M.D. is a native of Florida and has served communities in Florida since he graduated from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine in 1991.

Dr. Aguila received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Miami in 1986 before completing the medical program.

In Tampa, Dr. Aguila completed his surgical residency at the University of South Florida in 1996 and was Chief Resident in Surgery from 1995 to 1996. Dr. Aguila then went on to practice in general surgery in the Brandon area for eleven years and specializes in Bariatric surgery.

Struggling for almost a decade with his own weight problem, Dr. Aguila has opened a practice in Tampa that specializes in weight loss and shares with his patients the lessons he has learned in maintaining his own weight loss.

Dr. Aguila is currently listed in Guide to America’s Top Surgeons and is a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is Board Certified in General Surgery.

Dr. Aguila is active in community events including the American Cancer Society and the Rotary Club. He lives with his wife and three children in Tampa.

Rebecca Pharr Martinez

Along with being an Emergency Room Nurse for 22 years I have always been fascinated with skin care and cosmetic procedures.   So I decided to become certified in skin care, Permanent Make-up Procedures, Microdermabrasion Procedures, and Eye Lash Extentions.

I am very excited to be working with Dr. Will Aguila.  Since working with Dr. Aguila, I have started using the Obagi Skin Care products. I truly believe my skin looks better now that I am in my 40s than it ever did when I was in my 30s.
